E-Book, Physical Book, and General Merchandise Refund & Return Policy

1. Application for Returns/Refunds

Subject to the terms and conditions in this Refunds and Return Policy and the Terms of Service, a User ("Buyer") may apply for the return of purchased physical books ("Physical Books"), general merchandise ("General Merchandise"), and/or a refund for digital electronic books ("E-Books").

2. Physical Books & General Merchandise Policy

(Printed Materials, Apparel, Accessories, and Physical Goods)

A Buyer may apply for a refund and/or return of a Physical Book or General Merchandise under the following strictly defined circumstances:

  • Unreceived Items:
    • The Physical Book or General Merchandise was not received by the Buyer within the designated delivery timeline.
  • Defective or Misprinted Items:
    • The Physical Book contains severe printing defects that impair readability, or the General Merchandise contains severe manufacturing defects (e.g., broken parts, unwearable apparel).
  • Physical Damage during Transit:
    • The Physical Book or General Merchandise arrived with significant structural damage sustained during shipping. Minor cosmetic wear to packaging or outer corners does not qualify.
  • Incorrect Item Delivered:
    • The Physical Book or General Merchandise delivered does not match the title, edition, size, color, or variant ordered by the Buyer.
  • Change of Mind:
    • Applications for a return due to a change of mind are only permitted if the Physical Book or General Merchandise remains in its original, pristine condition and is completely unopened within its original packaging or shrink-wrap seal (if applicable). Once the packaging, tags, or seal is broken, a return for change of mind will be rejected.

3. E-Books Policy

(Digital Downloads, PDF, EPUB, and Online Access)

Due to the intangible nature and immediate delivery of digital content, E-Books are subject to highly restrictive refund criteria to prevent intellectual property abuse:

  • General Rule:
    • All E-Book purchases are final, non-returnable, and non-refundable once the download link has been generated or access has been granted to the Buyer's account.
  • Exceptions for Digital Refunds:
    • A refund request for an E-Book will only be evaluated if:
  • Technical Failure:
    • The digital file is verified to be corrupted, incomplete, or broken, and our technical support team is unable to provide a functional replacement file within forty-eight (48) hours.
  • Non-Delivery:
    • The system failed to deliver the download link or grant platform access, and the transaction is verified as unfulfilled.

Anti-Piracy Enforcement: If an E-Book refund is approved due to technical failure, the Buyer's digital license will be revoked immediately, account access to the file will be terminated, and the Buyer is legally required to permanently delete any downloaded copies.

4. Return Procedure & Timeframes

  • The Notification Window:
    • For Physical Books and General Merchandise, the Buyer must raise a formal return or refund request within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date the package status is marked as "Delivered" by the courier service.
  • Evidence Submission:
    • To facilitate evaluation, the Buyer must provide photographic or video evidence demonstrating the defect, misprint, or damage (e.g., clear photos of the misprinted page or crushed shipping box).
  • Return Execution:
    • Once a return for a Physical Book or General Merchandise is approved, the Buyer must securely pack and ship the item back to the designated return address within seven (7) calendar days from the date of approval.
  • Sole Discretion:
    • The ultimate approval of any refund or return application remains at the sole and absolute discretion of the platform. All decisions are final and binding.

5. Liability for Shipping Fees

  • Platform/Publisher Fault:
    • If the return is caused by a damaged item, printing defect, or an incorrect title fulfillment, the platform will bear 100% of the return shipping costs (or provide a prepaid shipping label).
  • Buyer Fault (Change of Mind):
    • Where a "Change of Mind" return is permitted (strictly under the sealed conditions in Section 2), the Buyer is entirely responsible for organizing and paying all forward and return shipping fees.

6. Processing of Approved Refunds

  • Inspection Period:
    • For Physical Books and General Merchandise, refunds will be withheld until the item is successfully returned to our warehouse and inspected to confirm it meets the required conditions.
  • Reimbursement Method:
    • Approved refunds will be issued directly back to the original payment method utilized during check-out (Credit Card, PromptPay, Debit Card, or Bank Transfer).
  • Timeline:
    • E-Book Refunds: Processed within 2 to 5 business days following technical validation.
    • Physical Goods Refunds: Processed within 5 to 10 business days after the returned package passes physical inspection.
